The Iridium Certus Cobham Sailor 4300 Iridium Connected terminal from Cobham is the pinnacle of L-band satcom performance and durability. It's small and straightforward to install. It ensures that your connection to the Iridium network is always active, allowing you to operate more safely, intelligently, and efficiently thanks to the power of always-on communication and digitally connected apps.
Iridium Certus is a new worldwide satellite service portfolio powered by Iridium NEXT, a ground-breaking second-generation L-band global satellite constellation designed to provide an uncompromising solution for the future of global maritime communications. The SAILOR 4300 is a Broadband Core Transceiver (BCX) type terminal with speeds suitable for data-intensive applications such as videoconferencing, multi-user Internet/VPN, IoT, and telemedicine, as well as regular usage such as email, electronic forms/reporting, and crew communication over the Iridium NEXT satellite network.
Seemless Integration
SAILOR 4300 has been built for smooth integration with onboard communication networks, making it a suitable solution for VSAT service providers to provide a cost-effective, high-speed secondary/backup communications channel. A specially designed, easy-to-configure VSAT integrator 'smart box' in the SAILOR 4300 gives this capabilities.
Next Generation
SAILOR 4300 connects to the Iridium network via high-bandwidth IP connectivity and three high-quality voice lines for global calling no matter where you are.
Operational Continuity
The SAILOR 4300 is built to resist the most extreme marine conditions. It is manufactured to such high quality that there is no regular service interval or maintenance for at least 10 years following installation, resulting in high reliability and minimal lifecycle costs. However, if something goes wrong, Cobham SATCOM's unique Global Service Network will help you get back online no matter where you are.

*DSG = Dynamic Sharing Group's enable users to pool their monthly plans together, sharing allowances. This is subject to terms and conditions. A DSG requires application via NEXUS and Iridium and therefore advance notice is required for set-up. DSG's require 5 SIMS minimum. If a DSG is set up prior to 5 SIMs being added to it, there is a 3 month grace period before you are charged for the 5 minimum SIMs. DSG are subject to a 12 month minimum duration period. Should SIMs leave the DSG within the initial 12 month period, the minimum of 5 SIMs will continue to be charged. DSG plans are limited to one migration per month.

Mobile Terminated SBD (MT-SBD) messages are sent to the Iridium Gateway via the Internet from a host computer system. The maximum length of a MO-SBD message is 1960 bytes. When checked on, the Gateway expects to receive an acknowledgement from the receiving server that it has received the message. Returns:
