The Icom M424G VHF Radio is a full-featured, small, and durable VHF radio designed for marine use. The device is not only waterproof, but it can also be submerged for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1 meter.
Integrated GPS Receiver
The M424G is an improved version of the M424 fixed mount VHF/DSC that incorporates an integrated GPS receiver that allows DSC calls to be made using current position and time. The M424G includes the HM-205B speaker-microphone with a big speaker, as well as a stunning white backlit LCD that improves visibility. A white backlight LCD and laser-cut keypad are also included in the optional HM-195G COMMANDMICTM.
Active Noise Cancelling
Built-in bidirectional active noise cancellation eliminates background noise by up to 90% and improves both broadcast and incoming voice. Increase your ability to hear and be heard.
Intuitive User Interface
For simple, intuitive use, it incorporates Icom's common Marine Family User Interface design. The intended operations are quickly and easily accessed using a rotary selector and directional keypad. The laser-cut keypad and high-contrast white backlit LCD go well with modern boat designs.
