Icom's Float'n Flash, AquaQuake, and Active Noise Cancelling are still available. With inbuilt GPS, the M94D will keep you safe by reporting location, bearing, and speed. Plus, with a specific built-in DSC receiver for CH 70, this handheld complies with ITU-R M493-13 Class D DSC. The new M93D from Icom is designed for serious boaters.
User Friendly
A flat sheet keyboard slims down the radio while also providing a satisfying click. Based on Icom's common Marine Family User Interface, the Icom M94D Handheld GPS VHF Radio provides consistent and predictable operation. Using soft keys, you may rapidly reach the desired function. The 19 most often used functions can be placed to the bottom of the screen and toggled using the left and right keys.

The wide, full dot-matrix display of the Icom M93D Handheld GPS VHF Radio clearly displays data. It's easy to read because of the wide font and recognizable iconography. Furthermore, the display has a high contrast ratio and is viewable in bright sunlight.
Integrated GNSS Receiver
Using information from GPS, GLONASS, QZSS, and SBAS (WAAS/EGNOS/MSAS), an integrated GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) receiver delivers your location, bearing, and speed with quick setup time and pinpoint precision. After turning on the radio, the M93D can fix positioning in 8–12 seconds using GNSS memory data. DSC calls and navigation to waypoints can both benefit from the acquired position data.
