RJ11 / POTS, phone, and data services over the Iridium satellite network are supported by the RemoteSAT RST100B satellite terminal, which combines a sturdy architecture with intelligent technology. The RemoteSAT terminal has a variety of interfaces that allow normal corded/cordless phones or integrated PABX communications to be used.
RJ11/POTS Interface
The RST100B also has an intelligent RJ11/POTS interface that allows up to 5 standard corded/cordless phones to be connected, as well as interaction with a PABX system. It has intelligence to support standard ring, busy, and dial tones and can accommodate wire runs up to 600m (2000ft).
