Multi-System Flexibility
The HM782 can be used in analog and digital conventional systems, MPT and XPT telecommunications networks, DMR Tier II and Tier III telecommunications networks, IP Multi-Site Connect networks, and DMR Simulcast Systems.
Greater Calling Flexibility
Individual Calls (radio to radio, radio to dispatcher), Group Calls (one radio to many, dispatcher to many), All Calls (broadcast call to all radios, transmit only), and Telephone Calls are all supported by the HM782 (with connectivity to PSTN, PABX or SIP networks).
Clear and Bright Display
The HM782 has an easy six-grid navigation interface with large letters and icons, a 2.4-inch, 240x300 HD TFTLCD display. The display is easily visible in direct sunlight and offers 262,000 colors.
Enhanced Worker Safety
The HM782 radios are equipped with an easy-to-reach emergency button, emergency dialing, and priority interrupt for the protection of workers. The user of Lone Worker is asked to push a key at predetermined times to signal that they are safe. Easy access is provided by big, tactile knobs and piano-style buttons, allowing drivers to focus on the road.

Enhanced GPS Location Tracking
The HM782 improves the effectiveness of graphical dispatch systems by providing real-time location information to other radios, the dispatcher, or outside apps. For quick position targeting, GPS data is transmitted during voice calls. GPS data can be reduced to maximize channel capacity and save hardware costs.
Higher Security
For voice and data, the HM782 supports digital end-to-end and over-the-air encryption. A built-in encryption card is used to implement hardware encryption. The ARC4 and AES encryption algorithms are used in advanced software encryption.

Single Ferquency Repeater
The HM782's SFR mode permits repeater use on a radio channel where transmission takes place in one slot and reception occurs in another slot while using the same frequency. In field operations involving large distances and uneven terrain, SFR mode increases coverage.
Back to Back
To facilitate communication between analog and digital radios, or radios using different frequencies, the HM782 can be set up back-to-back. You can use one radio plus a repeater or two HM782 radios deployed back-to-back.
Wireless Link
When a wired IP network cannot be established between two repeaters, a wireless link can be established between the repeaters utilizing two HM782 radios operating on different frequencies.
IP Mult-Site Connect
An Ethernet/IP network can be used to connect multiple HM782 mobile radios, offering a dependable and affordable way to link remote radio stations and expand coverage areas. Radio stations with analog, digital, or radios operating at separate frequencies can be connected via IP Transit.
Clarity Transmission
A wireless data channel between distant network devices and a main network management station is offered by the Clarity Transmission function. Compact gateways with wireless channels that carry data transparently and without modification are provided by HM782 radios.
