Configuration Flexibility
The Icom M605 VHF Marine Transceiver gives you a lot of options when it comes to setting up your radio system on your boat. Using the HM-195 series COMMANDMICTM and/or the RC-M600 Command Head, remotely operate up to three controllers using all M605 features. Both options can be utilized to communicate between the radio and the unit.
Large Color Display
Let the color flow. The huge 4.3" color TFT LCD display on the Icom M605 VHF Marine Transceiver gives approximately a 180-degree viewing angle. The directional keypad and soft keys, as well as the high-resolution text and function icons, create an easy user interface. In the dark, the night mode screen allows for easy use. The most frequently used functions have been allocated to soft keys (at the bottom of the display) enabling one-touch access. Integrated AIS* Receiver
The radio may share GNSS, AIS reports, DSC call information data, radio frequency, and PGN list data via the network using NMEA 2000 connectivity. Other equipment can convert NMEA 0183/-HS GNSS position data to NMEA 2000TM data.
NMEA 2000™ and NMEA 0183 Connectivity
The M605 can display AIS marine traffic information thanks to its inbuilt AIS receiver. The AIS combo screen allows you to keep an eye on the AIS plotter when it is in basic operation. The M605 additionally allows the user to use an individual DSC all to summon a specific AIS target directly from the AIS screen.
